I will be bringing fabric, feathers and patterns for hats, as well as a moustache for Carisa to dress rehearsal tomorrow.
I hope the rest of you are working as hard on your fights and dialogue as Merissa and I are working behind the scenes.

I have posted the basic fight choreography and the first draft of the script for this year on the “Scripts” page accessible through the top menu here. They are available in PDF format. Enjoy.
We will have printouts on Saturday, names for the new people, and some new blocking and choreography. Be prepared.

This year’s rehearsal and class schedule is now posted. You can reach it from the link at the top. Remember that all classes are mandatory. Wednesday classes are from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday classes are from 10 to Noon, with make-up time at 9a.m.

Informational meeting will be held at Tremper High School Auditorium on Saturday, September 29th.
This year’s cast will be cut to the top ten students. Merissa Swenson will be instructing the students in basic classes during the week, with master classes on Saturday instructed by SAFD Actor/Combatant Christopher Elst.

I have not yet decided on who will be playing whom. At tomorrow’s practice, I will be working exclusively with the captains on their choreography and we will all come to a decision. Also, there will be more to say within the fights, as well as some more improvisational speaking on the way off-stage.
